Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is an easy way to support The Noah's Ark Appeal. It’s a flexible scheme which allows any employee working in the UK and paying income tax to give regularly to their chosen charity – and tax free, too!

• Any donation will be deducted from your wages before you are assessed for tax
• In order for you to make pre-tax donations your employer will need to be registered with a payroll giving agency such as Charities Trust.
• A donation of £5.00 per month, for example, costs you at standard rate tax, only £4.00, and if you are on the 40% tax band your donation will only cost you £3.00. Use the payroll giving calculator on this page to see how much your donation will be worth to your chosen charity and how much it will actually cost you after tax relief.

Once you have pledged your tax effective donation, you can split the donation to benefit as many charities as you wish. The administration charge is not affected and regardless of how many charities you choose the charge stays the same, for example;

Charity 1 - £1.00

Charity 2 - £1.00

Charity 3 - £1.00

Charity 4 - £1.00
