Never have the words "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" been so true for annual Christmas walkers Geraint and Gareth Davies and Wayne Moore, as they prepare for their 7th Christmas day trek.

The pair, bouyed up by their always astounding sponsorship funds, will walk 26 miles.

Over the years they have raised a snow-crunching £8,956 - how's that for a reason to brave the ice!
