Cardiff Central AM Jenny Randerson today welcomed the Health Minister's commitment to the Welsh Children's Hospital. Under questioning from the Welsh Liberal Democrat Health Spokesperson the Health Minsiter stated that funding from the Welsh Assembly remained intact and that she would look at a new approach to revenue funding, with results by the end of the year.

Since it opened On St David’s Day 2005, the Children’s Hospital for Wales has treated children from the four corners of Wales. Demonstrating that it is truly a Children’s Hospital for Wales, the official figures reveal that 73% of the patients treated at the hospital during its first year came from outside of Cardiff and the Vale.
All of us at the Noah’s Ark Appeal were truly sad to hear of the passing of Gren who has been a great friend to the Noah’s Ark Appeal since its inception. His work is still with us as he drew brilliant cartoon routes for our Ian Botham Walks which humorously brought out the character of the places visited.
