Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Giving
Joining our fundraising campaign for a Teenage Cancer Unit in Wales is a great way to keep fit, get healthy and have fun and raise money for a good cause along the way.
Now that the Children’s Hospital for Wales is open, the Noah’s Ark Appeal is raising money to support the addition of a state-of-the-art facility especially for teenagers suffering from cancer, which will be the first of its kind in Wales. In order to achieve this, we really need your help to raise the final £300,000 needed to reach our target.
Our campaign goes hand-in-hand with the government initiative, Health Challenge Wales, which is highlighting the poor state of health across the Principality. The challenge laid down by the Welsh Assembly is for the people of Wales to take action to guard against preventable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and many forms of cancer.
The Noah’s Ark Appeal is wholeheartedly backing this campaign and wants the people of Wales to take notice of the importance of staying healthy, whilst also raising money to help those who have already been struck by a life-threatening illness.
Getting involved is easy!
By organising a sporting sponsored event in aid of the Noah’s Ark Appeal you can help us to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Unit.
Just keep in touch with us to let us know what you’re doing to support our campaign - we’d love to feature our most enthusiastic or the most imaginative supporters on our website or in our newsletter.
By joining the Noah’s Ark Appeal’s latest fundraising campaign, you will be able to contribute towards a very worthy cause, whilst protecting your own health.
Please help us make a difference to the lives of teenagers in Wales with cancer.
