Panasonic Staff Swear to Make a Difference

Staff from Panasonic in Pentwyn recently swore to make a difference to many young lives and decided to take their pledge quite literally, by raising money for the Noah’s Ark Appeal through a swear box.

The Panasonic workers raised money by fining anyone caught swearing 10p for each and every expletive they uttered over a two month period, raising over £50.

“We wanted to do something to raise money for the teenage cancer unit at the children’s hospital and thought that a swear box would be a great way of doing it and might make the air here a bit less blue too,” explained Anthony Kitto from Panasonic.

Roz Robinson, Community Relations Manager at the Noah’s Ark Appeal said: “We’re thrilled that the staff at Panasonic chose to support the Noah’s Ark Appeal and that they put their bad language to such good use.”
