Bring a Pound to Work Day 2005

We like to say a really big THANK YOU to all of the Real Radio listeners and companies who took part in Bring a Pound to Work Day 2005, which has raised over £58,000 to date.

The money raised through Bring a Pound to Work Day, which took place on 2nd November 2005, will enable the Noah's Ark Appeal to support vital projects at the Children's Hospital for Wales. One of our current projects is raising £300,000 to help the Teenage Cancer Trust to complete a teenage cancer unit at the Children’s Hospital. With the help of Real Radio listeners, we've got much closer to our target and will be able to make a difference to many young lives.

Over 600 companies registered to take part in the event and throughout the day teams of Real Radio presenters and Noah’s Ark Appeal volunteers took to the roads to collect the money from workplaces across Wales. We're extremely grateful to all of our volunteers who generously donated their time to make the event possible. Their support is absolutely invaluable to us.
