No Snail's Space for Appeal's Iron Men!

Taking time out from their 9-5 routines, Nick Rees and his brother took part in the Nice Iron Man Triathlon in France to raise money for the Appeal.

Motivated by their desire to raise as much money as possible for the Children’s Hospital, Nick and his brother endured a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride into the French Alps, followed by a full marathon along the Boulevard des Anglais in Nice.

But there was no going at a snails pace for the boys, who finished the race in just under 12 hours — a brilliant achievement for the duo, whose twelve-hours-a-week training sessions enabled them to complete the race in a great time and raise £1,140 for the Appeal. Très bien lads!
