Noah's Art Appeal
Dr Glyn Jones from Ceredigion, has raised almost £4000 for Appeal by selling two limited edition prints by the Welsh artist, Aneurin Jones, at the Menai and Friarly Stud Reduction Sale of Welsh Mountain Ponies and Welsh Cobs, which took place in Llandysul.

The first of the limited edition prints, of the Welsh Mountain Ponies on the Black Mountains, was purchased by Mrs Kath and Mr Martin Hall of Goodwick in memory of their son, Ian Hall, who died earlier this year. The Hall family have themselves carried out sterling work to raise funds for The Noah’s Ark Appeal.

The second limited edition print of a Welsh Cob Stallion was purchased by Mr Peter Jones of The Menai Stud as a present for his wife, Ann Jones and sons Richard and Thomas, as a memento of the day and to remember the loss of their eldest son William who died in 1995 at the tender age of 3 years.
Dr Jones, who has been a dedicated supporter of the Appeal for many years, has generously donated a great deal of time and money for the Children’s Hospital for Wales.
The proceeds raised on the day were boosted further by Brightwells Auctioneers, who agreed to donate £1 from the sale of each catalogue sold towards the Noah’s Ark Appeal. We are very grateful to Terry Court and his team for this kind gesture and to everyone who supported the event and made donations to help sick children in Wales.
