Auction of Charlotte Church's Dress

Charlotte Church and Bill ClintonCharlotte Church, Patron of the Noah's Ark Appeal, recently generously donated one of her dresses to the Appeal for it to be auctioned to raise money to build and equip the first children's hospital in Wales.

The dress was successfully won in auction by Tim Holder, a family physician from the United States.

Dr. Holder has been a long time fan of Charlotte's. His three daughters, ages 9, 6 and 3, are big fans as well. "I remember the first time I heard her sing," said Holder. "She had the most beautiful voice. I remember being amazed that she was only 12 years old."

"I have enjoyed seeing her career as a singer blossom," said Holder. "She has really done well in her transition from a singing and music video career to her movie career."

"It is a refreshing change to see Charlotte involved with the Noah's Ark Appeal," said Holder. "The idea of raising money for a children's hospital for Wales is wonderful! The opportunity to bid on this dress as a way to help raise money for this very worthy endeavor was too great to pass up."

"I want to thank Charlotte for giving this dress to the Appeal for their auction. My family and I are looking forward to receiving it."
