Cleddau Bridge Abseil

The Noah's Ark Appeal Cleddau Bridge Abseil Challenge, which took place on 20th July 2002, attracted more than a hundred participants, all of whom raised money for the Appeal.

The Noah's Ark Appeal is raising the first £5 million nedded to build the initial phase of the first Children's Hospital for Wales.

The event was staged by Dyfed Powys Police Force who adopted the Noah's Ark Appeal as its charity of the year and have already raised more than £25,000 for the new Children's Hospital.

Organiser, Stuart Blaxland, said "The response to the Abseil Challenge was overwhelming. The day was tremendous fun, particularly for those who abseiled for the first time, and over £35,000 was raised for the Noah's Ark Appeal."
