Co-op Sponsor Gareth to Walk with Ian Botham

Heart surgery patient, Gareth Strange, has been sponsored for £1000 by the Co-op Stores in Wales to walk with Ian Botham.

Sixteen year old Gareth Strange, who received heart surgery as recently as last November, has been sponsored by the Co-op Stores in Wales and the Borders to join Ian Botham on the penultimate leg of the Valleys Walk from Caerphilly to Cwmbran on 10th October 2003.

Gareth was formally signed up for the Walk with Ian Botham, when he met up with Roz Robinson, Community Relations Manager from the Noah's Ark Appeal, at the Co-op in Griffithstown on 19th June.
