Matthew Maynard is Charity Champion for the Noah's Ark Appeal
Matthew Maynard, England and Glamorgan Cricketing star has now joined the Noah's Ark Appeal as Charity Champion.

Matthew, father of two, has been a keen supporter of the Noah's Ark Appeal for two years helping as a collector on both of Ian Botham's Walks and representing the Charity at school presentations.
Matthew says "I am delighted to undertake this role for such a worthwhile cause and I look forward to representing the charity and acting as an Ambassador for the new Children's Hospital for Wales. The building of Wales' first Children's Hospital is progressing really well; it is wonderful for everyone who has helped to see the results of their fundraising efforts and I look forward to the day that we open the doors. During the Walks, I have seen how much enthusiasm and support there is for the Hospital and I look forward to doing what I can for the children who need it."
Suzanne Mainwaring, Director of the Noah's Ark Appeal says "Matthew has worked hard for the Noah's Ark Appeal. On both Walks, Matthew gave up many days to work tirelessly as a collector. It is not an easy job running all day alongside the crowds collecting money in an increasingly heavy bucket but we were very glad that he was able to help and retain his sense of humour! The people who came to watch Ian were pleased to see celebrities such as Matthew playing their part in making the Walk and ultimately the Hospital a success."
Matthew joins Percy Montgomery who also is a Charity Champion for the Noah's Ark Appeal.
