Wooden Spoon Society Donates £250,000 to Appeal

The Wooden Spoon Society announced its donation of £1/4 Million to the Noah's Ark Appeal on 12 July 2005.

The massive donation, which is the biggest the Society has made in Wales to date, is expected to fund the very special children's garden if the Welsh Assembly gives the green light to complete the final phase of the hospital.

The Wooden Spoon Society was keen to make a donation to support Jonathan Davies' fundraising efforts. Jonathan, who is spearheading the Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Giving campaign and running in the Great North Run this September, is hoping to break the fundraising record at the Great North Run and raise over £390,000.
