Zipline/Abseil Challenge

On the weekend of 28th/29th June 2003, an exciting challenge event took place in Cardiff Bay to raise money for the Noah's Ark Appeal.

The zipline/abseil challenge took place from the GERLING NCM building in Cardiff Bay, where intrepid fundraisers leapt 150ft from the roof of the building.

South African rugby star, Percy Montgomery, and Miss Wales, Michelle Bush, bravely signed up for the jump along with the Welsh Rugby Team and the Welsh Netball Team.

The event was staged by the Royal Marines and proved an exhilarating and spectacular experience for participants and onlookers alike, which raised a significant amount of money for the Noah's Ark Appeal.
