If you’d like us to come visit you’re school or college in order for the pupils to get an insight into our and what goes on at the Children’s Hospital for Wales please give us a call to arrange a talk or presentation. We’d love to come and tell you about what we do.
Children and young people are the reason we do what we do at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity and we are always delighted when we see young people from across Wales choose to support us and the young patients at the Children’s Hospital for Wales. It’s also a great way engage pupils and to teach them about citizenship and about making a difference in your community.
We have lots of ways for nurseries, schools and colleges to support us. If you’d like to fundraise but need some inspiration, take a look at our fundraising ideas. You might also be interested in promoting recycling at the school – not only is it good for the environment but it can also help the us.
Here is what some of you have been doing to support us…
- Schools across Wales have been taking part in a vote to choose the names for the new wards in the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales. Find out more here.
- Little Inspirations Day Nurseries chose us as their charity of the year which was topped of with an adorable Easter bonnet parade.
- Pupils at Ysgol Bryn Hafren are for the second year donating money raised through their enterprise task for their Welsh Baccalaureate to support the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.
- Coleg Ceredigion have also chosen us as their charity of the year and are planning a calendar of events which includes fundraising for our Christmas Stocking Appeal.
